What Is Holly Kai Park?
Holly Kai Park is a public space located within Holly Kai Estate on the north side of Blake Sea in the United Sailing Sims. With rolling hills, wooded footpaths, an expansive sandy beach and two event venues, Holly Kai offers plenty to see and do for visitors, be it spending time on the beach, following the trails or simply sitting and relaxing.
The event venues at the park are The Pavilion, offering a large dance floor and seating under an ultra-modern glass and steel awning and which suitable for events of up to 4 hours duration – charity events very welcome; and Caitinara Bar, a beach side venue on the west side of the park, suitable for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Both The Pavilion and Caiinara Bar can be booked to host openings, private parties, etc., and there is no charge associated with using either. Please follow the links above for details on their facilities and use.
Holly Kai Park is also the venue for Art at the Park, a rotating series of art displays featuring invited artists from across Second Life. In addition, and adjacent to the park itself, is Holly Kai Garden, a very special art venue facing the beach and Caitinara Bar.
Holly Kai Park also supports events in Voice, with Stories at the Park presented in association with Seanchai Library, alongside our monthly Art at the Park events. In addition, there is the Storyteller’s Circle, a home for special events and workshops in voice, with room for purpose-built sets.
Accessible by water and seaplane, Holly Kai Park offers mooring for boats on the east and west sides of Holly Kai Estate, and seaplane moorings on the east side of the Estate. Auto-return is set to one hour in the moorings, and re-rezzing of boats / planes is allowed.
All visitors are invited to come ashore and explore the park and the gardens, and enjoy the art exhibitions on offer. We look forward to welcoming you soon to Holly Kai Park!
