Sunday, October 23rd 2016 marks the end of our October Art at the Park exhibition, featuring  the art of Wildstar Beaumont, John Brianna, Giovanna Cerise, Anibrm Jung and – well, me.

It’s been another delightful exhibition, with a range of theme, from Anibrm’s fabulous physical world photography, Widlstar’s magnificant sea images, John’s beautiful paintings of Schloß Neuenstein to Giovanna’s magnificent sculptures and 3D art. I’m especially pleased to have been able to share the exhibit space at the top of the hill with all four; it’s been a genuine honour – my thanks to them all for participating.

On Sunday, October 16th, we were joined by Seanchai Library for another Stories at the Park, with readings of works inspired by the art on display written by Caledonia Skytower, Trolley Trollop and R. Carp Mariner. If you missed that, you can catch up with the stories and poems right here, on this blog.

In the meantime, there is still time to enjoy the art on the hilltop: the exhibits will remain in place through until the end of Sunday, October 23rd (SL time), before the artists will be taking them down. I hope you’ll take a last chance to visit or re-visit before things do vanish to make way for the next exhibition.

The next Art at the Park will be opening on Saturday, October 29th, and we’ll have full details on the artists and the opening a little later in the week.
