About Eleseren Brianna

Eleseren Brianna
Eleseren Brianna

Trained as an illustrator in the physical world, Eleseren Brianna is perhaps best known as a fashion and couture model in Second Life, so her photographic work is understandably focused in that direction, but certainly not limited to fashion shots. Holly Kai will be her sixth major exhibition in Second Life, where she has only recently entered the art world, although , she has previously exhibited her work at Dreanz and Visionz in Inworldz.

The pieces she offers at the Park are placed under the title of “Myths”, which she describes thus:

I wanted to create mysterious and dreamlike images, that call upon the universal archetypes that Jung said lie tangled within the roots of our Collective Unconscious.  These images do not try to explain, or define what is going on in them..they are left mysterious, open-ended, ready for the viewer to spin their own story onto.

Stories and Poems

It’s All About Packaging – Caledonia Skytower

Inspired by The Invitation

“It all seems very promising,” she taunted, “the veil, coins, a glimpse of breasts. Don’t
you agree?”

He didn’t know how to respond. His heart, or something, was lodged in his throat rendering speech unattainable, yet …

“But remember, by this light I can be nothing else. Imagine my nose, red with a cold. Replace these silks with sweats. Imagine hard times instead of plenty – then decide.”

He took a gulp of beer, hoping he could swallow. Her eyes held an empty sadness that
challenged him. He wanted to share her laughter, her joy.

“I’ll chance it,” he sputtered.

Choices – Caledonia Skytower

Inspired by The Walk

“After mi’lady,” he nodded towards distant hills in their fated haze.

Beauty raised her head: perfect skin, and hair resolute through the dust. She stepped forward. He stayed just behind. Was it respect? Or to halt her retreat?

Over dune and dell she was a breathless vision that robbed him of breath.

He could not help but ask, “Why, mi’lady?”

She paused, ravishing in her stillness.

“You think I have sacrificed, but I have not. I chose, that is all.”

“When the inevitable loss comes, will it have been worth it?”

A quiet smile.

“Only I will ever know that.”

One of Life’s Finer Pleasures – Trolley Trollop

Inspired by Voyage

Thirty years an anonymous amanuensis assigned to a grey and sunless stall, one of a hundred in a mid-town advertising firm’s endless warren of cubicles. Childish jingles. Predictable slogans for failed political office seekers. Thirty-second B-roll selling shoddy goods and banal dreams.

The sum of his life’s work and this was his reward: an all-expenses paid Caribbean adventure cruise to play the pirate, the privateer before he begins the long sentence of retirement.

Another tall ship with billowing sails appears wraith-like. All his mind can formulate in
response is a familiar jingle,

“Pardon me. Would you have any Grey Poupon?”
